I was looking for a reasonable price apartment in the Tampa area and after touring these apartments loved it here. The office manager made my process easy and pleasant and my stay has been good. Maintenance is quick and very knowledgeable and they solve my request in no time.

I've lived at Fernwood for ~6 years and have had a TON of ups and downs. The community has been sold and bought multiple times and the current owners, Sinatra & Company, are *not* the best Fernwood has had. The company resides in Buffalo and they are very hands off whenever there is an issue with the office/community.
Rental prices and additional fees have increased exponentially, but the amenities are NOT what is presented by the complex. The controlled access gate has not worked in years... (literally), only a few washer and dryers are available for use in the laundry facility, the "dog park" is a small square of turf, and there is no "clubhouse" on site. Pest control is also a major issue. We pay $5/month, but the complex does not actually service the property or our units. This fact was never communicated, but then when you contact them to request service it takes weeks.
Communication by office staff does need improvement due to it being very inconsistent, but overall Nataly has been an asset to the community.

I have just resigned my lease here and I will say, I feel the apartment isn’t exactly fully worth what I’m paying after my rent increase (but isn’t that like anywhere in Tampa?). There are many small points of irritation, but that definitely has nothing to do with the staff. Since the new staff has come in, living here has become a lot more bearable. Maritza in the office is extremely helpful and friendly every day even when I’m constantly in with issues and problems for her to resolve. The same... goes for Zach in maintenance. He’s always happy to help and goes above and beyond for me putting in other requests outside his job description saving me a trip to the leasing office. So overall I’d say this place is getting better since I first moved in and that’s largely in part, thanks to all of the staff.
